After coming off a grueling and pivotal 5-set match with Far Eastern University (FEU), Ateneo rolled-past their neighbors in a convincing fashion.
UP fought in the third set and managed to inch close to Ateneo but a service ace by sophomore Dzi Gervacio sealed the deal for them en route to a solo third behind La Salle (11-0), and UST (9-2).
UP bowed out of the Final Four contention at 4-8.
